DAVID MOORE
BE YOUR OWN HERO
David's Top 10
#1: Puns
I love puns, giving and receiving. My reception may not always be positive, but I don't let that stop me! I'll never stop, unless someone punishes me or puts me punder arrest. Eh? Ehhhh? Ah, well. It's an acquired taste.
#2: I know Pi(e)
Not only can I distinguish blueberry from raspberry pie, I happen to have memorized over 50 digits of the irrational number, pi! That's also my code to punch in to turn off my alarm clock! Talk about some hectic mornings! I do pride myself on my memory, though. It's one of my best assets.
#3: Travel
I have always wanted to travel, and while I have taken some trips cross-country, I'd love to go somewhere like Europe. I love to trave! From packing the bags, to travel, to destination, I can't get enough of it! Future goals!
#4: Literature
I love to read, mostly fantasy, action, or mystery of some sort. Reading is truly my happy place. I can escape to any world of my choice, for hours upon end, letting the worries of reality escape me. Ah, the true allure of books.
#5:Family
I have a pretty big family, in many senses of the word. My mother is currently in her 50's while my father just entered his 60's. Did I mention I'm 15? Great planning, parents. However, my two half-sisters are grown and have children of their own. I'm an uncle to six children, now. I love my family, and I feel pretty assured that the feeling is mutual.
#6: Grades
I've managed to keep an A average my entire educational life, which is something that I pride myself on. I work hard in school, and my grades reflect it. Of course, I may get branded a "nerd", but I am one! A nerd and proud! I hope that my grades will one day help me on the path to success.
#7: Knowledge
Knowledge is important to me. All kinds of knowledge, from trivial to practical, interest me. I want to be able to learn as much as so to better myself as a person. I'd like to become a modern day "Renaissance Man", really.
#8: Dedication
I truly value hard work. It amazes me how lazy some people can be, and I like being able to put effort into something and continue that effort. I love getting compliments because of it. I hope that, 10 years down the road, I'll still be as dedicated or even more dedicated than I am now.
#9: Friends
I like to think that I make good first impressions, and therefore make a lot of friends. I manage to maintain healthy relationships with all my friends, and when in need, have friends to help me. I value kindness, and most of my friends have that quality. Plus, they'll laugh at my jokes... sometimes.
#10: Positivity
I am constantly reminding myself to remain positive, and often I listen to myself. My almost-constant positive attitude keeps me and others around me happy, even when we might want to feel down. One of the main reasons I make the wonderful jokes I do is to keep myself and others happy.
